The decorative header uses Annapurna-region elevation data from Mapzen Terrain Tiles. Global GMTED2010 and SRTM terrain data courtesy of the U.S. Geological Survey.

The Terrarium tiles were decoded, bilinearly resampled to a 385 by 129 grid, and rounded to whole-meter elevations. Relief is exaggerated for presentation. Rock, vegetation and snow colors are illustrative, not satellite imagery or current conditions. This view is not intended for surveying or navigation and does not imply endorsement by the data providers.

The road alignment, cuts, arch bridge, tunnel, waterfall, stream, vehicles, vegetation and surface details are artistic additions. Rear slopes are extended procedurally beyond the sampled grid to close its exposed edge. These additions do not represent a mapped road, watercourse or a current land-cover survey. Water uses an illustrative downhill channel and gravity-driven spray, not a calibrated hydrological simulation.
